类型Overview of Configuration Patterns

三诈定义The Three Frauds are primarily constituted by three of the Eight Spirits: Tai Yin (Greater Yin), Liu He (Six Harmonies), and Jiu Di (Nine Earth), combined with the Three Qis and three auspicious gates; hence the name "Three Frauds." The term "fraud" (诈) also carries the meaning of strategy and cunning, because each fraud configuration contains the Three Qis—Yi (乙), Bing (丙), and Ding (丁)—which embody the presence of noble persons (guiren). Whether an action can receive aid from noble persons depends primarily on whether the Three Qis appear in the palace of the applied spirit.

三诈分类True Fraud (Zhen Zha), Rest Fraud (Xiu Zha), Heavy Fraud (Zhong Zha)

五假定义In Qi Men Dun Jia, "Falsity" (假) refers to the concealment of one's true intentions and the use of various conditions to achieve one's goals. The Five Falsities are determined by assigning eight gates of different properties with qi-images and the Eight Spirits. The Five Falsities are likewise favorable for scheming, planning, and strategic design.

五假分类Heaven Falsity (Tian Jia), Earth Falsity (Di Jia), Human Falsity (Ren Jia), Spiritual Falsity (Shen Jia), Ghost Falsity (Gui Jia)

切记The Five Falsities most forbid entering Tomb (Ru Mu) and Constraint (Po). If either occurs, they cannot be used.
